Offline Phone Number Sheet Before International Roaming
Prepare an offline phone number sheet with country codes, hotel contacts, banks, insurance, embassy numbers, and emergency backups before roaming.
A phone can hold every travel contact and still be useless at the wrong moment. Roaming can fail, the battery can die, a wallet can be lost, or a local number can need the correct country code. An offline phone number sheet gives travelers a practical backup for hotels, banks, insurance, family, embassies, and emergency services.
Write numbers in international format
Save important numbers with the plus sign and country code, not only the local format. This helps when calling from a different country, using a borrowed phone, or copying a number into a messaging app.
Include the hotel, apartment host, airline, travel insurance, bank card support, mobile carrier, embassy or consulate, and a trusted contact at home.

Separate emergency and convenience contacts
Emergency numbers should be visible immediately. Convenience contacts such as restaurants, tour desks, and car rentals can sit lower on the sheet so the urgent list stays readable.
Add policy numbers, booking references, card last four digits, and passport copy location where useful, but avoid writing full card numbers or sensitive passwords on paper.

Make it work without your phone
